Senior Account Executive/Account Supervisor
:
The ideal Senior Account Executive/Account Supervisor candidate will have:

-A minimum of four years of public relations agency experience

-Recent experience in professional services industries (business consulting, real estate, etc.)

-Experience leading PR accounts as a primary point of contact, strategist, team manager, and client consultant

 

Additionally, candidates should have:


-The ability to build and nurture relationships with target media and analysts
-Experience developing and pitching story ideas to media contacts
-Strong aptitude for writing press releases, white papers and media kit materials
-The ability to handle the logistics of media interviews and press tours
-Excellent client relations skills and service ethic
-Sound PR and "news sense" instincts
-Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines on multiple projects

 


Senior Account Executive:
The ideal candidate will have:
• A minimum of four years of public relations experience, with some agency experience required.
• Technology, consumer electronics, or healthcare experience is recommended.
• Significant media and industry analyst contacts and successful track record for proactive media relations and key influencer program success.
• Experience managing, motivating and assisting in the growth of junior members on a PR team.
• Understanding of brand marketing.
• Strategic planning skills.
• The ability to execute tactically against a strategic plan.
• Experience as day-to-day client contact or project manager


 Account Executive:
The ideal candidate will have:
• A minimum of two years of public relations experience (will consider entry level with strong PR internship experience).
• The ability to build and nurture relationships with target media and analysts.
• Experience developing and pitching story ideas to media contacts.
• Strong aptitude for writing press releases, product announcements and award submissions.
• The ability to handle the logistics of media interviews and press tours.
. Excellent client relations skills and service ethic.
• Sound PR instincts.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines on multiple projects.


Internships (summer, fall or spring)
The ideal candidate will have:
• A passion for the public relations industry.
• A consistent and solid academic track record.
• Experience (through course work) in developing story ideas.
• Strong writing aptitude.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines on multiple projects.

R&J Public Relations Promotes Vickie Cullen to Account Executive

R&J Public Relations, today announced the promotion of Vickie Cullen to Account Executive. Cullen joined R&J in May 2008 and most recently held the position of Account Coordinator. In this new position Cullen will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a variety of the agency's health related, and consumer accounts.

"Over the past year, Vickie has proven herself to be a key contributor to the success of the R&J Public Relations team," said Scott Marioni, executive vice president of R&J Public Relations. "As an Account Coordinator, Vickie took all necessary steps to exceed the expectations of our clients and ensure that her accounts were managed successfully. We are certain that she will continue to excel as she takes on new responsibilities and challenges as an Account Executive."
Cullen, a Somerville, N.J. resident, graduated summa cum laude from The College of New Jersey in May 2008, earning the highest overall GPA in the graduating department of Communication Studies. Cullen received a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies, with a concentration in Health Communication.
